Introduction
* The chair, panelists and discussant(s) of each accepted panel may optionally publish a paper of up to 8 pages on their discussion topic in the proceedings of GCCCE 2024.
Panels are interactive forums with the intention of drawing together the panelists and the audience to stimulate lively discussion or debate on specific issues that are of particular significance to the field of computers in education.
A proposed panel should be either English-speaking or Mandarin-speaking.
Each panel is either one hour or one-and-a-half hour in length. The panel proposers are given the leeway to format their panels, subject to the following specifications:
Length |
Members of the panel |
Time allocation |
1 hour |
1 chair, 3-4 panelists, and (optional) 1 discussant |
The total presentation time of all the panel members should be less than 40 minutes. The time given for audience-panelist exchange should be at least 20 minutes. |

A quality proposal should comprise a concise overall theme/focus (vague topics such as "the general trend of ... [a particular research area]" are NOT favorable) with its potential significance/contribution to research in and/or practice of technology-enhanced learning being clearly stated. It is acceptable for the panel chair to also serve as a panelist but this is not a requirement. Each panel must comprise panelists/discussant(s) from at least TWO (2) different countries or territories.
